This an absolutely random layout. I had thought about emulating a local station or an alpine railway but I think this would have taken up too much planning for an absolute beginner.

What I concentrated on was the more points the better and how many bits of track I could fit in. So 1 oval and a passing loop was soon added to with another oval and then three sidings followed by a crossover, later three more sidings. Then I created an elevated section which is very long which has a furhter siding off that. After this I really couldn't fit any more in.
